hi karen, the blackbirds seem to be getting all the press at the moment, have 2 pairs in our garden at the minute, nice shots, have left reply regarding new camera on forum.

I see you've taken the sensible precaution of having wicker hanging baskets. My wire ones get the liners swiped by the sparrows for their nesting material!

ReplyDeleteI do worry about the Blackbirds in my garden they are so very trusting as I saw mentioned in an earlier comment. It is the local killer cat which is the problem here despite two electronic cat deterrents!
Hi shy songbird, i have the same problem with a black cat, i too have an alarm! im worried sick about the babies coming into my garden!its a catch 22! Mac, ive always had the wicker baskets!Ive never really seen the wire ones!!!Bless the sparrows, they dont miss a trick!! karen
