My first magpie pics and some sturks!!! x

I only saw my first magpie yesterday!!They were here again this morning, so it appears that they may become regulars!!! Not sure how i feel about this, as i worry about my smaller birdies, but at the same time, theyre very beautiful birds!!! I hope to get some really good pics of them soon!!! x

Woodie and a young collared dove today x

It was only when i was uploading my pics that i realised that this could be a young collared dove! He doesnt have the black neck mark!! Could someone confirm for me please! He was quite small too, and was sat eating with the sturks x

Sparrows and lizards in cyprus x

There were lots of little sparrows, around the pool, and at breakfast!

..they soon flew onto the tables to eat the leftover breakfast!! Bless em x

Saw alot of lizards around!!! some of them quite big!!!

Flutters x

I was filling up my feeders ready for my holiday tomorrow, and there were loads of flutters about. These 2 stayed for a while so i was able to get a couple of nice shots!! I think this is a comma, please correct me if im wrong!!! x

...and im pretty sure this is a painted lady!!! Love the above pic, as you can see the fluffy bits underneath!!!! x

These two doves popped in this morning, i think they're so sweet!


I was SO pleased to see the bluetits this morning!!...

Thought it was sweet , seeing the sparrow and the woodie sharing!! x

Baby woodie and friends x

I saw this little fluff ball this morning, he let me get very close, but mum and dad were watching close by! I wanted him to fly off, because the dam cat was watching him, and they are so fearless when they first fledge aren't they!!

I know its a distant shot, but i was delighted to see the great tits again!! x

....and the sturks reappeared this morning, im pleased to say!!! x

This little fella was watching me clean and fill up my feeders, he was there for a while!


I was able to get fairly close, which is unusual for a dunnock, as they usually scarper when i go out! x

Think this was a greenfinch, the sun was on him, so has made his colouring a bit strange!!
