My first EVER Redwing x

I was stunned to see this beauty in my garden this morning....

Im so excited!!! It looks very round and fluffy!!...

..and it sat with the blackie for a while xxx

Thanks Denis, i must admit my heart was beating a bit faster as i grappled with my camera!!!! I was VERY excited, as i didnt think i would ever see one in my garden xxxxx

Congratulations Karen, you sound as thrilled as I was when mine visited. Mine has been back again for the berries, hope yours visits again too.

Love the little Blue Tit photos on the previous post also, so dainty and pretty.

Welcome to my garden

Hi, my name is karen. I live in worcestershire in a little cottage, with a very little garden! It is the first garden i have had of my own, so im very proud of it! It has allowed me to do my little bit for wildlife, which i have always been very interested in. I love all animals and wildlife. So i am happy to be providing for the birds in my garden, i find it fascinating! I dont get all the birds i would like, but who does!!! My garden is my haven, my escape from the stresses of work! I have a very busy and stressful , but rewarding job in hair replacement, where i look after people who are losing their hair, and we also do alot of work with children with cancer etc, so it can be quite traumatic! so its good to be able to switch off in my garden! I hope to bring you all lots of pics of my birds, so i hope you continue to view my blog. Thankyou all for your interest, karen x
