Need advice on my buddleia!!

I have cut alot off my Buddleia today(it was about 7 foot tall!!! I have been told to cut it down to about a foot! Is it ok to cut the really thick branches down to that height??? Ive tried to show it in the pics!! Thanks guys x

My first ever Blackcap! x (i think)

I think this is a blackcap, could someone confirm for me please xx The pictures are poor, as i had to crop them, but im very pleased xxx

This picture makes me laugh!! The Jackdaw just flew in right next to the Collie dove, and im surprised that the dove didnt fly off!!! x


My little wagtail is here everyday, hes so sweet! x..



..and i had to put this pic on, even though its not very good, because it is a rarity for me to have a chaffinch in my garden! So i was very pleased to see this one x

It made me laugh watching these two collie doves trying to balance on this little feeder! ...



My blackies love this wall feeder!! And of course they love the berry suet pellets and sultanas i put on it, hes certainly got a mouthful! (not a bad investment, £3 at a car boot sale!!!) x

The sturks were having a bath!! They must be mad in this weather!!!...


The blackies are so sweet, i have got SO many of them in my garden at the moment! x....

The little bluetits have been coming alot more lately, and have also been checking out my nestbox!!! So heres hoping for the spring!! x

Bluetits 'house hunting'?????

I was delighted to see 2 bluetits checking out my nest box this morning....


They were taking it in turns to go inside...



..then out again!!! I really hope that they found it a suitable home
to raise their babies this spring!!! xxxx
